Unfortunately I just have the Rubbing Compound but not the Polishing compound as it is not available here(out of stock). What would be the best possible substitute for the Polishing Compound? Can DC Polish do the job? If not, then what do you guys suggest?

Re: Substitute for Polishing Compound?
DC Polish has no abrasives so it will not remove any haze left by Rubbing Comopund. I would pick up some Swirlx in place of Polishing Compound.Tedrow's Detailing

Re: Substitute for Polishing Compound?
Another Question. As you all know the soft foam app pads are out of stock in my area. They would be unavailable for a month at least. However, I found some soft sponge/foam in a local hardware store. The feel and softness is similar to that of yellow Foam Applicator pads. I was planning to get this in bulk and then cut it to the required applicator pad size so I can use this for detailing. Tell me what you guys think...
