i normally use colonite fleetwax on my boat and truck. its a cleaner wax that holds up very well which removes any stains or spots i may miss.
well i washed the wifes brand new car today, dark blue, took it for a spin, dried it off with cotton diapers for the most part.went back out after lunch and covered the car in the yellow gold carnuba wax,new and improved.let it dry to a haze, about 45 minutes. proceeded to wipe off with diapers.noticed it did not remove water spots.
.
wound up washing the car again, completely drying the car to make sure no water spots then re waxed the car.
car looks good, but man,my arms are tired.
obviously it was the first time i used it.goes on and off easy with good results.
i was just used to the colonite that removes stains and spots when using it.
