  • Chrome Scratch help needed

How these scratches occured I have no idea - but would like to find out what could best be used to eliminate them. They don't show from far away or even casual inspection, but up close and direct light they drive me crazy!!! Please advise. Picture included to give one an idea....

    Re: Chrome Scratch help needed

Chrome is an extremely hard finish and polishing out scratches can be a real challenge. We do offer our Hot Rims Chrome Polish which, when used with a foam wax applicator pad, is probably going to be your best bet. Are you working strictly by hand for this?

        Re: Chrome Scratch help needed

I have tried SwirlX with no results - but perhaps I didn't put enough elbow grease to it. I still don't know if it is metal or plastic though, and I would think knowing this would dictate appropriate treatment. I do have Hot Rims polish which I have not yet tried. Let me know if someone truly knows - Metal or Plastic, and then I could try getting rid of the scratches. p.s. I do have a machine also if needed. Thanks.
