"Everything you need for a 'showcar perfect' appearance" says the gift pack huh. i love megs products but dang that marketing engine can just get outrite silly. Someone needs to settle down the marketing dept or get control over the ad agency. Who approved this? The megs image is dangerously close to being associated with total spin which risks loosing loyals as well as an authoritative voice with which to claim quality. I understand the need to generate revenue from an "in-and-out" end cap program with mass retailers but the package design and copy writing must still consider the effect to the brand, not just saying what it needs to move this one unit.

Sorry about the rant but this stuff hurts detailers who tout megs as well.

True. That is not an accurate statement, especially since it includes no paint-correction products. However, as with some of the other products, Meg's has to appeal to mass consumers as well as detailing aficionados and experts in order to have the funds to continue providing us with quality products. I may be wrong but I don't think anyone will be snapping a photo of that copyright and calling Meguiar's out on it... Well, other than on here of course!

I personally wouldn't give $5 for that box of goods. Other then the car wash soap, I see nothing that grabs me

The tire foam and glass cleaner are good products IMO.

I do not really care for the Supreme Shine wipes though.

You don't like Quik Wax and Gold Car wash? I think the bottle of Quick Wax sells for just under $9 on it's own.

Give this till after Christmas and they will probably be on clearance again for $5. Last year the box was different though. I'd buy another 10 boxes of this different box if it drops to $5.

Yup, I cleaned house on these late last winter. I bought and resold them all (except the 3 or 4 I kept) and could have sold maybe 10 more. I've put a note on my appointment calendar to go to Target the first week of January.....

The look on the cashier's face when I came up with two carts piled high with these was priceless!

The Target's I go to usually don't last until the 29th or so and I try to make it out on the 26th to get them. I think I might pass on them this year though, I have way too many products as it is.

Yeah, I saw a bunch, but I am not going to be spending 30 dollars on it. It's a decent deal but the only thing I would use out of it is the Glass Cleaner, Soap, Towel, and UQW. Don't care about the tire foam or wipes myself.

I will wait for a special discount, or clearance if I have too

And I agree the Holiday Kit with the mug was the best. Such a clever idea which actually made it seem like a gift.

stop complaining - here in Australia our dollar is comparitive at the moment and yet the products are 3 to 4 times the price and we cant buy direct

I don't really care for the selection of the products on this years set. The only thing I really use is the Ultimate Quik Wax. Oh well.
