I use the D-line glass cleaner and can get a streak-free result everywhere except the windshield. I know it is my technique so what do you guys use when cleaning glass?

Re: Glass Cleaner
Hmmm, something doesn't make sense here.
I use the Meguiar's Detailer line glass cleaner and when used with a Microfiber Glass Towel it's crystal clear. Keep in mind that the windshield is angled so the sun is for the most part perpendicular to it thus showing everything you might have missed.
Make sure your towels are clean and not redepositing dirt and stains back on it leaving streaks.BobbyG

Re: Glass Cleaner
I use the D Line Glass Cleaner Concentrate at 10:1.
I use only terry and cotton cloths.
Microfiber streaks IMO.
After cleaning the glass with a terry cloth I go over it with a cotton cloth very slowly.
I also view all glass in direct sunlight for streaks during the final inspection.
Any streaks are handled with water and a dry cotton cloth.Nick

Re: Glass Cleaner
I sometimes have the same problem with the interior windshield. I read on another forum where it was "out-gassing" of the dash. It is almost like there is a film on the inside of the windshield. It varies on each car as to how bad it is, I can usually do it enough to get it done, but it is always a problem.

Re: Glass Cleaner
I also use and like the Detailer Glass Cleaner, but recently after cleaner the window with a micro fiber, I have used a diaper for the final buffing. I have found that a diaper has less lint than either a micro fiber cloth or terry cloth towel. The problem is finding an original cloth diaper.
