Are all Meguiar's car soaps (consumer and detailer line) pH-balanced? From what I heard, it is better to let the soap dry (pH-balanced) on your paint, than hard water. Thanks!

Yes, our car washes are pH balanced.

But where did you hear that craziness about it being better to let the soap dry on the paint than it is to let hard water dry? Hopefully who ever said that was trying to make the point of "you think letting soap dry on the paint is bad, you should try letting hard water dry on it!". That's a round about way of saying don't let either dry on the paint. Heck, if you think about it, if you have hard water and you let the soap dry on the paint, you're actually letting both dry on the paint.

Since I don't own a Ferrari, I'll follow Mr. Stoops' advice on this one.

Exactly, I heard it from Adam's (from one of his videos). I am not sure if he is trying to sell more Car Wash Shampoo, but he said that "his" soap will completely neutralize that bad effect of hard water.

I mean try not to let any of them dry on your paint, as much as you can.
