Hello All, Newbie to site.
I have a new to me 2004 Volvo S60R and will be doing my first true detailing in the near future.
I will be doing so with a DA polisher, I already have the PC 7424xp. I have several pads, and am fairly familiar with products.
So other than saying hello, I do have a question.
Has anyone worked on Volvo paint before? If so, how hard is it? I have several Meguiars products to start on my test spot, but will be washing and clay bar first.
In possesision I have M105, M205, #9 swirl remover, M07 and I believe #26 wax. I also have a can of polishing compound for some harsher scratches to handle by hand.
Any suggestions on how to proceed? Any other products you would suggest I pick up.
My plan is wash, clay bar and then test spot with a couple. I think #9 and 205 first to see results, I have never worked on Volvo finishes and want to start light and go more aggresive only if needed.
Any tips are appreciated.
Thanks.
