I am having a hard time finding a trim dressing that lasts and doesn't get waterspots when it rains or runs when it rains. I have used UP which did more running then a marathon runner and I've tried mothers back to black because the they said the rain won't effect it but when it rains the trims in between the windows loses it's dark black finish and gets faded the trim that goes around the front windshield loses it dark black look and get faded. None of the trim is hard plastic it's all soft plastic or rubber I think, it's not rubber like weather stripping rubber. To me it's hard to describe the material it is I hope someone has one or worked on one before. the trim that runs along the bottom of the window when it rain the water either creates water spots or it creates a white residue on the trim where the water sat on it, I've tried sealing in the dressing with uqw but that did not help. Before applying the dressing I cleaned them very well with number 39, but most of the trims are faded to begin with, it's how I bought the car. Skittles off topic but does anyone use nxt2.0 on there wiper arms instead of a dressing because they are painted metal right?
