My cars have aluminum wheels; I own Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner (G9524). Will the All Wheel Cleaner be safe on my aluminum wheels? (I realize that the Aluminum Wheel Cleaner would have been a better choice but I have what I have at this point.)

Perhaps the name should be changed to 'Painted Wheel Cleaner' or a caution added to the label (or maybe I missed that "Safe only on painted surfaces; never use on aluminum or chrome wheels").
The directions on the back read" Highly effective on ALL WHEEL SURFACES without damaging any portion of the wheel. Safe for chrome, clear-coated, polished and unpolished aluminum and factory painted wheels."
BTW I didn't capitalize ALL WHEEL SURFACES, that's how it is printed on the bottle.
All Wheel Cleaner has a pH level of 1.5 to 2.5. It's a very acidic product.
The average person reading these directions would think that this product is safe to use on all wheels.
The product that is intended to be used on bare aluminum is Aluminum Wheel Cleaner it is pH neutral at 7.0 (big difference).

Sorry man, Welp time to grab a container of Mother's Billet Aluminum Polish and get cracking.
I have Centerline Convo Pros and those things re rinsed with water so that if I hit the tire with cleaner I can rinse with out letting the harsh chemical not penetrate. I generally hit them with some left over wash wash suds, rinse, and then dry. I generally repolish over the winter season.

Bare, high polished aluminum is extremely delicate and can stain quite easily. It's quite common for people to purchase this type of wheel thinking they have chrome wheels, which are actually incredibly durable. So they grab our Chrome Wheel Cleaner and stain their nice, new aluminum wheels. The good news is, you can polish the aluminum back to a high shine with our Hot Rims Mag & Aluminum Polish - the bad news is, many people stain all four wheels because they don't even begin to follow the directions on the bottle. All three of the Hot Rims wheel cleaning products instruct you to work on one wheel at a time, and since polished aluminum will stain almost instantly, we know when someone has sprayed all four wheels and then went back to the first one to work on it. By then it's too late for all of them.Michael Stoops

When I get some time later today, I'll post images of both bottles labelling along with their directions. It's quite evident that on the U.S./newer version the labeling is much more clear.
I apologize if I confused anyone.
