  • Which waxes won't stain trim?

Which waxes won't leave residue on trim? I know several have been mentioned but my search syntax was not up to the task

Thanks for the input. I think i was confusing drying white with staining trim. M26 doesn't dry white - is that correct?

If it get's on trim, then you will see it.

Maybe I shouldn't say this on here, but Turtle Wax Ice works great on flat black paint, rubber, etc...

UQW and M26 are the best with regard to the issue of staining trim. If you just pay close attention when getting NXT or M21 on trim and wipe them off right away they shouldn't be a problem either.

OMG!!! FLAME FLAME HATE HATE HATE!!!! J/k, j/k. Nothing wrong with talking about other products too.

All joking aside, I find personally that most waxes do not stain if they are applied extremely thin and quickly wiped off. I applied M16 Professional Paste Wax recently, not exactly a wax that is considered great to get on trim, and even that came off since I took a microfiber to the trim within 5 minutes. However, if I had slapped a glob of wax on the trim, it probably would have been worse.

If you get some haze on black trim from waxing onto it, you can get it off with a 10 cent pink eraser....

Yea I get NXT or GCW on the trim, I go and immediately clean it off. No problems.
