Re: Spray Wax
We do have a HE washer, so I won't be trying that lol (I'm guessing there was bubbles everywhere). I will try soaking them in a bucket of dawn dish soap, thanks!

I've since started using "The Absorber" and it works really well. I think I might do this and then apply UQW after, unless there is a better solution. I liked using UQW with a drying towel, I would just go through them to quick and it would get expensive.

I've made an order on eshine, to get a couple of these: http://www.eshine.ca/bogo_the_dehydr...450.php?cat=81
The waffle weave ones I'm using now are just some armorall ones I've found at Superstore, maybe they aren't the best quality who knows. I'll give these new ones a shot and see how it goes. The absorber works great, I just lose the ability to spray on a UQW while drying the car.
EDIT: http://www.kaboodle.com/reviews/armo...t-drying-towel this is the one I've been using, since I can find it locally.

Re: Spray Wax
Are you washing your waffle weave microfibers??? Personally, I use just two Water Magnets to dry a car using this method, then they go straight into the wash with the microfiber wash mitt and any other microfibers I've used that day. I've not had a problem with the towels losing their efficiency.

Re: Spray Wax
Quik Wax is the only Meguiar's spray wax that I know of that can be used when drying your vehicle after a wash (Per Meg's recommendations.)
A good quality spray wax will replenish protection to a coat of wax between routine waxing. Using a spray wax gives me peace of mind, and they're so easy to use. I actually stopped using QD's for my cars after regular washes and instead reach for my spray waxes. My two favorite spray waxes are Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Wax, and Optimum's Spray Wax.
On a side note, it would be nice for a gallon size of UQW to be made available.

Re: Spray Wax
In fact today, I used the UQW after washing both cars. They needed a boost. So I broke out the UQW and the cars look great again. Have not had the time to maintain vehicles lately. It has rained here on and off for about 10 days straight. It is nice to look at clean cars again. lol.
