The other day I hit a big turkey and now I have feathers and guts stuck in my car's griddle. Any suggestions on how to clean without damanging it? It was a young little *******, but still big enough to make a mess.

Re: I hit a turkey
You hit a turkey! I can honestly say I've never heard of someone hitting a turkey
well, you should rinse very thoroughly for starts, get as much off as possible by rinsing it.
I'm curious to see what other people have to say on this

Re: I hit a turkey
I suggest you remove as many of the feathers first by hand, so they don't get driven into places that you'll never get them out of. Perhaps a pair of long nose or needle nose pliers will help.
After that, I'd use a garden hose to try to remove as much as possible. If it's dried or caked on, repeated soaking may help. If you have access, a wet towel may help.
After removing as much as possible by hand, I'd then use a pressure washer and remove more, while trying to be gentle on the paint, rad etc.
If there's still stuff that remains, use Body Solvent or something similar, agitate as needed and rinse.

Re: I hit a turkey
Meguiars TurkeyX would work best in this situation...
Try treating it like bug strikes. Soak some towels in warm water and lay them over the remains for a few minutes, then gather up the towels by bunching them in the middle. Follow up with some Last Touch.
nevermind, just read the part about the stuff being stuck in your car's grill.

Re: I hit a turkey
I'm struggling with posting a pic in this thread so the thumbnails will have to do.
This was on my back porch. He (I assume but certainly don't know) then "flew" into the hill and weeds and I haven't seem him since. Sometimes I see rafter (yes that's the technical name) of turkies by off the highway here in the Cities. I better go brush up on my pic posting now.
