I cant afford an actual DA polisher at the moment but i do have a couple of regular DA's. Is there any reason why i couldnt use one of them to get me by with the soft buff pads etc?? Thanks

I use a DA air sander for years and see no reason not to give it a shot. It operates under the same principals as it electric powered cousin so I would give it a try.
