Re: 63 Fairlane-----how to
Most of the trim should shine up pretty well with just some Hot Rims Chrome Polish or Hot Rims Mag & Aluminum Polish, obviously choosing the appropriate product for the various surfaces.
If you've got chrome that is showing some surface rust, or rust in pits, then some #0000 steel wool with the chrome polish can do a fantastic job of cutting through that junk. If not, then stick with a terry cloth applicator and just take your time. It can tend to be dirty work as the oxidized material comes up black as soot when working on bare aluminum (chrome won't exhibit this trait when polishing) so be prepared for that experience! But those two products should set you up pretty well.Michael Stoops
