  • PRC151 and #23

Hi all. It's been a while since I've posted so wanted to stop in and say hi.

I was working on a customers car yesterday. Car was the grandmothers car that sat for the last 2-3 years since she died. The granddaughter is now going to use the car but it needed cleaning after spending 2-3 years sitting outside under trees.
The paint was pretty heavily oxidized but once again PRC151 really impressed me and did a GREAT job. I use PRC151 as my regular product for all my "standard" details. I only go to separates like M105/M205 if the customer is requesting (and paying!) for complete paint correction services.
PRC151 has always done a great job for me with both it's polishing abilities and the wax so is very effective as an AIO product but with the car I did yesterday and the level of oxidation in the paint I am impressed with the PRC151 all over again. It really brought the gloss of the paint back out.
Most important the customer was VERY, VERY impressed and happy. The job far exceeded how well they thought the car could get cleaned up.
PRC151 will continue to be my "go-to" product for all my standard detail work.
(sorry, no pics of this last job - camera batteries were dead)

On the same car there was a very musty smell on the interior from sitting unused so long. I used the #23 Odor eliminator.
Made me come up with the question though... how is it that #23 Odor Eliminator has an odor to it? Shouldn't it remove it's own odor from itself??!!
sorry, this was not meant to actually get real answers about - just a humorous thought I had while spraying #23 in this car.

    Happy detailing all
What am I, fly-paper for morons?
