Best Shampoo for Foamaster?

Hello All,

I'm looking at several Megs shampoos to use with my Foamaster. Out of these 3, does anyone know which produces the best and longest lasting suds: NXT Generation Car Wash, Gold Class Shampoo and Conditioner, or the Shampoo Plus. I usually use Adam's shampoo, but the special Autogeek is having on Megs stuff is too ridiculous to pass up. Anyway, any help or recommendations would be appreciated.

Super Soap would be the foamiest if available.

Looks like it might not be available.... I dont think you'll see much difference with those 3, I'd go Gold Class I guess.

I have used GC with good results but i just got some super soap and it is much foamier.

Ya, I've heard some good things about the SS, and I was also thinking about Maxi Suds II, but the Gold Class is just so cheap (less than $9 for a gallon after coupon), it's almost too amazing to pass up.

I've used both gold class and wash and wax and both foamed up nicely.

I used at least 1/4 the amount of SS than I do with GC, so count that in too.

Much like using a bucket, having lots of suds doesn't necessarily mean there is lots of soap and lubrication on the surface.

So I would say to try and be careful that you are using approx. 128:1 and covering the surface with the soapy water, so you are getting enough soap and lubrication on the surface. And then if you use less and are at the right ratio, great.

Do you put the concentrated SS on the tank? Or do dilute it before using it with the foam gun?

I put 4-5 oz of SS in the container and fill the rest with water.

Three oz of GC and three oz of M62 put out quite a bit of foam.

Hey, Tuck91, I been reading your posts for Super Soap being used with the foam gun. You probably mention what's your dilution ratio on your posts, but I could not find it.

So, how much Super Soap and water do you use with the 32oz Foam Gun? Thanks!
