It's possible that it's touch up clear, but a bit tricky to say just from pictures.
You've had a couple of scares recently, haven't you?! Might we recommend that before you start work on a customer's car in the future you do a thorough walk around with them, looking out for these weird little things and pointing them out to the customer before you start work.
Doing so will help you from being surprised by something later on, will let your customer know that it was there before you touched the car, and it gives you an opportunity to manage the customer's expectations. It is always far better to say "I don't think I will be able to get rid of this particular issue because of _______" and then actually correct it than it is to say to the customer "I'm not sure what this is but I can't get rid of it, sorry" when they're expecting you to fix everything. It is always preferable to under sell and over deliver than to let a customer down. Always.
