  • Foam Pad in NXT 2.0

The Foam Pad that you receive in NXT 2.0. Is this the same pad as the Soft Foam Applicator Pads, Just purple? Is this the best pad to use with NXT 2.0? I have noticed that the two sides are different, one side is denser and the other more open and softer (this is the side with the logo). Are they different for a reason? Is this the same way the Soft Foam Applicator Pads are? What side is recommended for use?

    Thank you

The sides should be the same regardless of which color pad you are using. I am almost positive that the only difference in sides is the Meguiars logo. Either side is good for use. I usually use the flat side for removing defects just because its flat but either side will work.

Yep, it is the same as the soft foam, just purple. And it should have uniformity on both sides, just one side says meguiars. I normally like using the non meguiars side that way it is a flat surface applying the product.

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

      I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
      Remove swirls my friends.

The pad supplied with NXT Tech Wax 2.0 is of the same foam construction as the yellow pads. It is the best thing to use when applying a wax, polish or even paint cleaners. You want to use the side without the logo, if only to have uniform contact with the paint.
