  • Needing help on removing caked on grime...

Hello, I'm needing help removing this black caked on grime off of the bottom sides of my car body and along my car's wheel wells. I can't tell currently if it's road grime or caked on tire rubber, but either way I can't get it removed from regular car washing. I've also have tried bug and tar removers and have had no luck. It does come off when I scratch the surface of it but I don't want to put any scratches into the paint so, what kind of solution could I use that could loosen up this caked on rubber or road grime without damaging the paint? Thank you guys for your time and responses. Take care.

Use Meguiars Body Solvent. Spray it on and let it sit for about 15 minutes then come back and wash it like normal. It may take a few applications.

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
    Remove swirls my friends.

How about giving a power washer a try?

A pic or two may help.

I have had some #105 applied by hand remove gunk before as well.

For some reason the site won't let me upload photos. But anyway when I wash the car I do use a power washer so that doesn't work, but I will try that Meguiars body solvent and see if that helps. Thanks.
