Better to use a glass cleaner.
This is straight from ADS's website:
"This all surface cleaner is ideally suited for today's fast paced, high volume, detail operations where one simple solution is needed for a variety of cleaning needs. It provides mixtures for heavy cleaning of engines and tires, fast interior cleaning, as well as low foam ratio for use in carpet and upholstery extraction machines. Leaves carpet clean, smelling pleasant, and the fibers soft with no sticky residue. Safe for clear plastic, glass and leather."
ColinA common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

I've wondered the same thing. I don't believe it has any ammonia in it. Mr. Stoops would be the one to answer this.

Glass, and TINTED glass, are two different surfaces. Not saying that APC + will hurt the tint, but why risk it?
Glass cleaner is made to clean glass. And is cheaper than APC +, so why would one not use glass cleaner?

That's why I quoted Murr, not the OP. Murr stated it wouldn't be a good glass cleaner (he never mentioned tint).
Why would someone use APC+ to clean glass? Just as the description I posted states - Fast paced production shops where carrying around a bottle for everything is not practical. Having a product that does multiple jobs is ideal.

APC+ doesn't leave behind a residue, so this shouldn't be a problem. The next time I clean my patrol car, I'll use APC+ 10:1 instead of glass cleaner. I'll post back with my findings.

Ya - thanks. Keep us posted. I was just curious. I wouldn't call my garage a fast paced anything, as it's just me cleaning my cars. But... hey, if I have less things to carry around and more hands to carry my beer, then I'm good.
