drying the car with chamois

Do anybody know this "chamois" towel? Is it good to dry cars? Better than the water magnet? I heard some people use both, is that true?

I have two Meguiar's water magnets, and I am thinking about getting more towels, but I don' t know if it d be a good Idea to get more water magnets or if I should get chamois to use before the water magnets, since water magnet doesn ' t seen to hold as much water as necessary to dry the roof of the car (the top) or the glasses.

So, should I get another couple of water magnets, or a couple of chamois (both from Meguiars).

Oh, I also saw another chamois from "4wash", named Clean Cham Chamois, do you know it?

I've stopped using chamois towels. I believe the Water Magnet is safer and more effective at water removal.

I actually use a Vroom microfiber towel from target (orange - large) for drying. I have never had a problem with scratches or swirls like I have with some chamois.

I agress with GARAGE TROLL - Microfiber from Target is what i use as well....

The original leather chamois used to be kind of the standard for drying cars without streaks or spots or scratching the surface. They don't hold much water but you wring them out. The ones you mentioned I believe are all synthetic chamois, and I have never used one so I can't comment on them. I assume they share many of the same properties as the leather ones. I use the Meguiars water magnets and am very happy with them. I do now have a couple of leather chamois that came in a kit but I haven't had time to "play" with them.

I prefer the water magnets. Less wringing out. Less chance of scratching finish imho.
