  • Tire Shine on wheels

I have a 2010 Mercury Milan Premier with 18" Luster wheels, which i think are Nickel.
I used Meguiar's Hot shine Tire Coating.
Some got on the wheels & i can't get it off.
    What do you reccomend ?
Also i don't think the shine lasts that long.
Is there a better product ?

Are these factory original wheels or are they aftermarket? If they are factory wheels then a simple cleaner wax should take care of the issue for you. If they are a bare aluminum aftermarket wheel then they may have been stained by the product and need a little aluminum polish to clean them up.

For longer lasting shine on your tires you might try our Endurance Gel, either high or low gloss finish.

Just remember to apply any tire dressing sparingly and wipe off any excess after several minutes to prevent sling.

What have you tried to remove the stains with?

try cleaner wax or D151 if you have it. D151 takes stains off of honda factory wheels.

D151 might be hard for him to come by - SwirlX would be the closest thing to D151 and it can be found at most larger auto parts stores for around $10. If you can't find that pick up some Ultimate Compound for about the same price. Both are perfectly safe to use on factory clear coated wheels.
