I have seen what looks like the same thing as a rotary but they call it an "angle sander." It looks like the specs are pretty much the same. Is there any difference between this and the variable-speed rotary polisher sander?

It's actually $99. Save $30.
You can pickup a DeWalt for a little over $100, I'd look into that. Also, check the board. People are always selling very nice units for below cost.NOTE: Post count does not reflect actual detailing knowledge.

Re: Is an "angle sander" the same thing as a variable speed rotary?
Thanks. I wasn't thinking about buying this. I actually already have a (cough, cough) bargain rotary, and my next one will be a Flex or Makita probably.
I just was curious about the term "angle sander" and wondered what the "angle" meant. I had seen "angle grinder/sanders" and wondered what the difference between them and a rotary was, but I found this Wiki on Angle Grinder. I guess they are more powerful and faster and you use them for serious cutting stuff or polishing glass or granite.
