Re: Detailer Line Professional Sampler Kit

I'm going to break down the individual prices of the 32oz bottles and the spray bottles a little later today, to figure out if this kit is a good deal. Does anyone know off the top of their heads?

I'd like to have all the bottles and I'll likely order gallon jugs of most of the products anyway. Would I be wasting my time with this sample kit?

I just did the math, it comes out to $118.78. Then, he gives you a bonus pack with the apron and MF towels/applicators that comes out to $32.25. Total = $151.03. Current price is on the sampler kit is back up to $125.95 (It was $100).

Thanks Leland. It looks like it is a fair deal then. It would be nice to have small amounts of the products that one likely wouldn't order in a 1 gallon jug. You never know when they might come in handy.

I assume you did the math based on purchasing 32oz bottles. I'd be interested in calculating it based on 32oz of product bought at 1 gallon prices as well.

Yeah, I just looked up the cost for each item just as if you bought it seperately. Calculating the price with 32oz using the 1 gallon price would take more time than I'm willing to spend right now.. lol

Also, consider that right now he's got 25% off the 1 gallon detailer line-up. I wouldn't mind a gallon of all of that, it's just some might be sitting on my shelf longer than others!

I bought gallons from ADS on the last 25% off sale; got APC+; Degreaser; LTD. Also got the 105/205 in the sample sizes. The APC works great considering the cheap price; the Degreaser is also great but has a nasty vapor; the LTD is good also and smells great. The 105/205 combo is a necessity.

Knowing that you calculated the price based on the 32oz bottles is all I need to know. As you mentioned, it's basically the same price as buying the 32oz bottles, but you get a few bonus items.

              Thanks

Extra bottles to dilute the concentrates for use are a necessity when you buy the kit.

I bought samples of Hyper Dressing and Last Touch Detailer last summer. Picked up gallons of each during the last 25% off sale at ADS. Ability to mix HD at different ratios to control shine is a nice feature. Like others said, Last Touch is a great clay lube.

Also have a sample of Super Degreaser but no time to try it on the engine of either of my vehicles.

Thinking that my next ADS order will have All Season Dressing, 105 and 205 in it.

You don't have to waste your time. Rick is a standup guy and is only going to save you money. You will never find him trying to rip someone off by "claiming" he is saving you money. There is a reason why probably 90% of the people on here order from ADS.

I wasn't question ADS's integrity, I was questioning the value of the kit if one plans on buying gallons of most of the products anyway.

Being you can get the bottles separately, I may be better off getting gallon jugs of the items I know I want and buying individual 32/16oz bottles of the products of the remaining products.

I've only read good comments about Rick and ADS
