i have collected a ton of these towels in the last couple years .. do you guys think a visual inspection of the towel is good enough ... also after you use a towel with one product and clean it is it cool to use the same towel with a different product ??? thanks guys

Testing Micro fibre

A ‘non-scientific tests’ you could use to assimilate whether or not a towel will cause scratches, they are not at all scientific nor 100% accurate, they are only indicative of what the towel may do to your paint surface, but then which is preferable to scratch a CD or your paint surface? Ensure the towels have been washed before carrying out these ‘tests’.

If the towel does scratch the CD’s surface that doesn’t necessarily mean that it will scratch the vehicle's paint, a CD has a much softer surface than automobile paint so use caution, initially trying an inconspicuous area.
CD Scratch Test - test it the way you'll use it (wet/dry, realistic pressure, etc.) with a micro fibre cloth, using medium to heavy pressure rub the data surface of a CD.

If no scratching is evident then it probably won’t scratch the vehicle's paint surface; be aware that the bindings can also cause scratching. On first use of a towel use it on an inconspicuous area first. Test on a fairly regular basis as micro fibre towels, like everything else, wear with use

I hand wash all of my microfiber towels that touch my car. During my washing, I inspect each and everyone of them, if the fibers are still good. For me, I feel like I can get more of the dirt and stains out by hand-washing, rather than just throwing it in the washer.

do you have any product to protect the paint of cars to park for 6 month or a year and when we clean it to be as before protecting?

You could always rejuvenate the microfibers. Seems to extend the life of them pretty well.

All you have to do is add a 1/4 cup of vinegar to your wash. Run A extra rinse cycle. dry as usual and there you have it.

Do you mean wash with detergent as normal and then a second cycle with the vinegar or are you including the vinegar with the soap?

I believe he means added to the first rinse cycle which is what I do. I add one tbsp per microfiber towel.

Personally, Murr recommended the Ultimate Wipes and I really like them. An added benefit is that they are white and make it a bit nicer for visual inspection.

sorry, I was not clearer. Add the vinegar to the rinse cycle. Then run a extra rinse cycle. Hope that clears it up.
