Re: Product to use on wheel wells?

These are excellent suggestions. I usually clean my wells, but have never applied any dressing before. Sounds like an excellent idea! I'd love to see some pictures, if anyone has some available.

Also - once spring rolls around, I might do a good cleaning under there by removing my tires, as Jonesey said...

I also use the Adam's Undercarriage Spray. It makes the wheel wells a deep black. An added bonus is it smells like grape Kool Aid. All the neighborhood kids are always wondering where the Kool Aid is.

So I guess outside of putting a rubberized coating on them, there is really no way to protect them from nicks and the like? I guess driving a sports car lends itself to that to though.

          Correct... and yes...

The reason is because, depending on where you drive, your tires kick up rocks and sand and anything that's on the road. These plastic wells are meant to keep that flying debris out of your engine compartment. The debris will certainly leave impressions on the plastic well, as you've noticed, but will leave your engine compartment safe...

Thanx, its not that hard when using a decent APC and a strong enough brush

Work it on a dry surface and redo if not entirely happy
