  • Back again!!

Hey guys I am back again into the detailing scene!! I am still a little rusty but i can still run my Oribital Buffer. We have a 2010 Tahoe and its black, I tried to persuade my wife not to get another black vehicle. It has light swirls but pretty much good. I have only washed it, what can I do to it to get the swirls out?

    Hey GODAWGS try these out

How To Remove Swirls By Hand

Using the G-100 to remove swirls with the Professional Line

Also if that's what your going to be using you can go get you a couple foam bonnets that fit your orbital and use something like scratchX and apply 2 or 3 applications and switch to the terry bonnet and apply some polish and then to a micro-fiber bonnet and apply 2 coats of your favorite lsp.

Fellow Dawgs fan myself (my wife and I are both UGA grads). A DA polisher is a great way to minimize swirls and get your car looking great. Combined with the right polishes you can get a great finish and have little chance of damaging your paint. Stang krazy also gave some great advice. Good luck, hope all is well down south!

Yeah I was thinking of going with the 83 but not sure which pad and what to wash with such as in wash mittens and such. I have tons of MFs from pakshak.

M83 with the yellow pad would be good. You might want to consider D151 as well. It is an all-in-one that provide swirl removing ability along with a wax protection. M20 is another option.

Paint reconditioning cream, (a cleaner/wax) Is more aggressive then M83 and has more play time too.

Thanks but will I need a whole gallon? It seems cheap compared to others considering how good it seems to be.

                      Re: Back again!!

No I wouldn't get that much of anything unless I use it day in and out.

Try the 12 oz sampler and might as well get you a sample of some other thing too while your making an order.

Try the detailer line of the glass cleaner a 32 oz sample will make you about 2 1/2 gallons. love the smell I also use it for removing water spots on crhome and aluminum if it's not dirty or dusty.

Don't forget the bottle to dilute and use it in, the sprayer also sell seperate so order you one of these too.

And the very best interior protectant in my opinion #40-I do buy this my the gallon!

Hope that helps, let me know what new goodies you got
