Not a question to be posed here, but just like to relate an experience to back up what Mike always says about wax and the like.....that it performs as a sacrificial barrier. Well, I had a spots of silver paint (on my black S60) on my bonnet roof. Did not know where I parked my car where some idiot was painting the wall/ceiling. Horrified when I first these.
My car had 2 coats of NXT as LSP. Washed the car, took out DC1 (had ScratchX as back-up in case more abbrassiveness is required). Worked DC1 onto the surface without much effort and wa-lah... the paint stains came out easily. Think the NXT stopped the paint from eating into the clearcoat (either that or the paint was non-petroleum based). I merely removed the NXT layer which the paint stains were sitting on top off.
As has always been asserted, the NXT was indeed a sacrificial barrier
