I voted No. That seems like normal behavior to me.

My brother and I took a whole car apart to paint all the panels, one-by-one in his apartment's bathroom.

This was back in the 70's which should be past the statute of limitations

For the rear fenders (the car was a convertible), we trailered the naked chasis out to a field behind my truck with a pumped up air compressor and sprayed it out there.

Believe it or not, after color sanding the panels in the shower and polishing everything up, we put it all together and it came out beautiful.

Of course this is the brother that has 12 restored antique Indian motorcycles in his Living Room !!

Oh, I think you are nuts, and now that I think about it, maybe I am too !!

In that case, I recant my vote and agree with Mike that you certainly are Car Crazy.

Crazy would be if you buffed the parts outsideon the car in the snow wearing shorts and sanddles!

I took the hood of my Neon off & into the basement to do some work on it, and I took the door panels off my cavalier to wash the insides of the doors

what kinda work did you do on your hood? And i take my doorpanels off on probaly about a 3 month basis to clean and inspect for rust. Mainly ofcourse because the cars 20 years old and rust is part of its life

                      Hey SprintKing,
Hopefully those weren't on the floor, or were you trying to make an indoor ice rink?

I had some rust on the leading edge of the hood, so I took it downstairs and hung it from the ceiling nose down so I could get a better angle on it. Too, it was kinda cold outside at the time

How about taking out the carpet to polish and wax the floorboards? That would surely be crazy.
