  • Didnt finish detailing in one day. What next?

    Sup guys,

Well I have been detailing since 9am, and had to stop at 3. I just got done removing most of the swirls. I have a few questions:
    1) If using SwirlX, with two passes, and swirls are still shown, should i move up to the ScratchX using the PC7424?
    2) When i start again tomorrow should i rewash the car or just use some detail spray and a MF towel? At night here, it gets humid(?) or get wet (when you wake up and your car is wet, kinda like condenstation). Im pretty sure the wetness has some dirt in it. Should i go over it with detail spray and proceed with a polish and wax?
    3) When using the PC7424, i notice some "chunks" or residue spit out from the polish. Is this because its drying to fast, is it not enough product use or is it common?

Hope you guys understand what im saying.

    Thanks!

    Happy Thanksgiving!

    Ok, I'll go first:

    1) What size work area were you working on at one time? You should be working on a section about 1 foot square as a rough guide. Did you spend enough time on each section? If so, then yes I would move up to ScratchX.

    2) I'm assuming the car will not be in a garage overnight? If not, just QD the car in the morning and away you go.

    3) Sounds like some residue is left in your pad from your last detail. Did you clean your pad properly?

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
