My boss started a side business buying and selling used vehicles and for the longest time has been taunting me saying that I could get all the detailing equipment I need, on his dollar. But has been too cheap to actually let me get what I need. Finally I can get a list together. Over the months I have collected most of the products I need for interior, engine bay, wheels&tires mild swirl repair and wax, etc. But as for actual paint repair, I am thinking this is what I would like to get because most of the vehicles he gets in seem to be solid vehicles, but the paint is almost always scratches/swirled, so I thought it would give me a good place to practice. I just want to make sure I am on the right track (this is the order I would be using them as well..I think..
M105 -Wool Pad
-Cutting Pad
M205 -Polishing Pad
-2.0 Finishing Pad
...this would be in the case of taking care of a vehicle that needs aggressive care only. Am I on the right track or am I taking too many, or not enough steps? ....Another question I have is I am not quite sure what the difference is between the black 2.0 finishing pad, and the regular one, does one of them finish up more flawlessly in the end?
