yess. i kno this is a non meguiar's product. BUT im kinda on a budget cause in savin for a DA So i kno I have some swirls. So i went to the store and got some new mf clothes and a mf mitt. Also picked up some nxt 2.0......which would u use to clean. Mothers Carnauba Cleaner Wax OR Turtle Wax Polishing Compound? (Safe for Clear Coats)....Working by hand and new car? Swirls in sunlight.......and after i clean can i apply a coat of GC and Then NXT???? Thanks as always

first of all, what are you trying to acheive by hand? you will probably have the same results w/ the mothers cleaner wax. not sure on the turtle wax. if all you're trying to do is remove swirls by hand, i would give swirlx a try.

Just having nice paint? Give more details on what you want to fix on your paint. If you just wanna fix swirls, get some swirl-X and work it by hand or a DA If you want to us a little more aggressive method in terms of consumer products, get some ultimate compound.

i personally like the results Meguiars Ultimate Compound gives by hand.

Heres a link, not very expensive either, also, buy some terry applicators for more cut if needed.

I would strongly recommend using Meguiar's Ultimate Compound over Turtle Wax Compound (aka rocks in a bottle). The nickname should give you a hint. lol.

Ultimate Compound has a slim chance of damaging your paint when used correctly.
