Can some one tell me the difference in the clay in the smooth kit, the pro line mild and pro line agressive?

Re: Clay questions

But if you prefer the blue mild C2000 clay there shouldn't be any problems using it regularly. Is it removing more wax than the consumer clay? Ah, the $64,000 question! When is the last time you waxed - how much wax do you really have left on the car anyway? If you're getting a lot of contaminants bonding to the paint, you're either exposing the car to a lot of crud and/or not waxing and maintaining the finish as often as you might. Of course there are always those unforeseen circumstances like parking downwind from a building being spray painted, but in that case you need some serious claying anyway.Shane

Re: Clay questions
The blue is slightly more aggressive than the consumer clay, but not by much. You can use either one without fear of marring your paint, as long as you are using plenty of lube. The blue is geared toward high volume detailers, who go through lots of product and so they need to buy in bulk. It is usually cheaper to buy in bulk as well. A professional detailer does not want to run down to Wally World and pick up 10 Smooth Surface Clay kits so he has enough clay for that month or week or whatever. So, you can go with whichever one you like. I use both with no problems.Shane
