So, in my never-ending quest for the perfect LSP, the next product on the block was Menzerna FMJ.
I just applied it about 20 minutes ago to my 944, so I don't have a whole lot of information as of yet, but I can safely say the following:
-It smells. Reminds me of Kiwi shoe polish as far as the smell goes. It's not pleasant, but it could certainly be worse.
-It applies very easily and evenly. On a LC Gold pad/speed 3.5 on the G100, it went on super evenly with no bare spots or heavy spots. Application was quite pleasant.
-Cure time is quick. It was about 40* F in my garage with high humidity (raining outside), and the product still cured in about 15 minutes or so. It was a nice surprise, I was expecting it to take forever and a day due to the environmental conditions in my garage.
-Stupid easy wipeoff. The product wiped off like nothing I've ever experienced. There was absolutely no resistance whatsoever, it was like running a dry microfiber over dry paint. No smearing at all either. Just a beautiful wipedown - it was great.
Slickness of finish- Holy ****. Forgive the crude analogy, but it's like I rubbed the surface down with astroglide.
I'll post back about some of the other qualities when the sun comes out or I take the car out in the rain. I'm expecting the beading to be absurd...
