Re: To cold to wax??
To anwser your question, I would go ahead and apply your NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0. Just lay it down real thin and expect drying time to be extended. Also perform the swipe test a couple of times throughout the drying process to get a feel for when you can remove the wax. One of your main concerns is that the product does not streak when you remove it, so try and make sure you let that thin coat dry long enough and that it at least comes close to passing the swipe test.
Good luck.Nick

Re: Too cold to wax??
Once ambient temperatures start dipping below 55F many products, especially waxes, will start to behave differently (and generally not a good different). They can become harder to spread, take longer to dry (in some case much longer) and can become difficult to remove.
If your local temp is only going to be in the upper 40sF you might want to reconsider.Michael Stoops

Re: Too cold to wax??
when its 50 degree's F outside, before I use NXT 2.0 Liquid,
1. apply ColorX, then take off.
2. apply NXT 2.0. taking off NXT 2.0 will be soo much easier
due to the first application of ColorX.
you will be glad you applied ColorX, makes the paint clean and smooth. thus easier taking the NXT 2.0 off in the cold temps'.

Re: Too cold to wax??
I just got a bottle of Last Touch and I wanted to try it out.
It was abt 40 out and lets say Last Touch didnt do to well. Pretty much just smeared around. I had just bought this car, so I am not sure if there is any wax on it at all. Thanks!

- Odds are a brand new car doesn't have any wax on it, and one indicator of it being time to rewax is when a mist and wipe product (Quik Detailer, Ultimate Quik Detailer, Last Touch, Final Inspection, etc) becomes difficult to remove.
- At 40 degrees you're going to see a wide variety of products behave differently than they should, including mist and wipe products.
Combine the two of these and it's not really a big surprise that this product didn't perform to expectations. Right now it's being asked to do more than it was designed for.Michael Stoops

I live in Illinois. from december to february the temp doesn't often reach above 30. And the single heater isn't going to make it much warmer in the two car garage i use.
All in all, I have about $180 in the two heaters from Home Depot."The Dude Abides"
