  • UQD then wax??

This may seem like a waste of UQD..But is it to UQD then NXT 2.0...Even though UQD does provide protection???

You can do that if you want.

I would think that the NXT would remove the UQD, making it pointless. ?

Yes, bit of a waste, but it can be done.

How about just using QD and then NXT 2.0..Instead of UQD??

Hope it's OK to add this to the question:

1] Would QD fill the pores & interfere with LSP bonding unless the QD was allowed to flashed off?

2]Would the QD make the LSP go on smoothly and evenly? Like spreading oil on a wet surface? ( sort of positive spin to #1

                  Re: UQD then wax??

the only reason you may want to use UQD or ANY QD before NXT or any other LSP would be to make sure the paint surface is nice and clean.
For example, lets say you just finished using UC or M105 which tends to dust a lot than followed up with M205.
Now you want to make sure you have a nice clean vehicle free of all the compound/polishing dust before applying your NXT so you may choose to do a wipe down with the UQD or QD. Other than that, of wanting to make sure the vehicle is clean before your LSP, using a QD product before your LSP is really not needed - it doesn't hurt anything but it's not a needed step

QD or even UQD will not cause bonding issues with your LSP. Will they conceal some of the finest defects? To a very, very small degree - maybe. But would they make the LSP go on any more smoothly? Probably not, unless you were waxing without dusting the car off first in which case you've got some other issues we should discuss first!
