  • NXT 2.0 Dried on Rough Plastic

    Hello all,

First time using NXT 2.0 on Dodge Ram 1500 and I'm impressed with the overall results.

However, several days later I notice the rough plastic around the tailgate and "ram boxes" are dried white.

I tried using UQD to remove it but that doesn't work.

Any suggestions how I can remove the dried wax?

#39 with a soft toothbrush. You might also try one of the OTC products like Natural Shine or Supreme shine with same toothbrush. For trim dressing I now use UQW as it does not leave any white residue.

    And welcome to the forum.

Try rubbing a pink school eraser over the white, It works for me.

If you want to try something you might already have, try some window cleaner - I think the ammonia is what does it - has worked for me on occasion.

I didn't have any Natural or Supreme Shine products but found Armor All's version hidden away in the garage.

Sacrificed the wife's tooth brush and it did the trick!

The eraser trick worked also but I worked it into eraser heaven.

            Again, thanks guys!

The eraser thing does work... That's a cool trick.

I recently got off all of the marks from prepping, cleaning, polishing and waxing (shame on me for not taping off the trim) by using Megs Trim Detailer. I have NEVER seen a product take all of that junk off and restore the trim to like-new before until I used this.

                Just my .02
