It all depends on how extreme the swirls are. Are you using a DA buffer or applying it by hand? A thin layer is all it takes to work. May require multiple applications.

G110 for the most part. I have various pads to choose from. Obviously I can play with it a figure it out on my own but was looking for a general starting point.

In our Saturday classes we do our demos with UC both by hand and G110. To start on the G110 we put down the typical ring of product toward the outer edge of the pad (an "x" through the center is roughly equivalent) and then work our 2' x 2' section. Since both products use SMAT rather than diminishing abrasives you will reach a point where the pad is pretty well primed and you can get away with a bit less product than you would with M80/M83. Keep in mind, however, that even though this is SMAT there will still be some degree of product breakdown over time - it's not like the abrasives are diamond dust or anything!! Also, with a minimal amount of product on the pad you will start to see some drying around the edges that will begin to form some dust. ANY product that is allowed to dry out will do this to some degree, so keeping the pad clean is important with UC as it is with anything else.

Don't skimp too much on the product though - having more than just a few drops will keep things lubricated, which is also important. Your paint, as always, is going to play some role in this too, so you will want to experiment and test a bit, just as you might with any other product.

With the SwirlX, I usually go with a little more product than the UC, as the SwirlX tends to dry out a little quicker.
