Would a painter paint a house without first preparing the surface? No.
I cannot believe, that as long as I have been detailing my cars, that I have never clayed. I clayed our 2003 Honda Accord last night, and WOW, what a difference! The surface was like silk. The clay seems like such a simple product, but there is absolutely no question, it got deep into the paint and removed a lot of junk. As the front bumper was a mess, I did clay it twice, and really felt a difference.
I am hoping to be able to capture some pictures. I washed, clayed, DCPC, then NXT Gen wax. Last night I washed and clayed, today, I did everything else. Tomorrow morning I will apply a second coat of NXT Gen.
