What quick detailer do you recommend that has good cleaning ability? I have ultimate QD and it does a great job at leaving a nice shine but Its not the best at removing water spots. Would you recommend Last touch or Final inspection? Any feedback would be much appreciated!

Might need to wash the vechile to remove the water spots or if etched in you may need to use a paint cleaner like SwirlX or ScrtachX 2.0
try washing them first and see how that works.Nick

I am just talking about fresh water spots while drying after a wash. My car is black and there is always a few spots left over after a wash.Comment

You mean the fresh water spots from the wash are not being removed by UQD? That is curious.
A lot of us use Last Touch as a drying aid precisely to remove car wash water spots. Spray on some each panel as you dry. You should find the fresh water spots removed.Swirls hide in the black molecular depths, only waiting for the right time to emerge and destroy your sanity.

Yes, fresh water spots from a wash. It will remove the spots, but it takes alot of effort. I find that I have to go over each area a couple of times and I have to use more pressure with my microfiber than I am comfortable with. Just wondering if Last Touch or Final Inspection would do a better job. I have used other quick detailers and didnt have this issue.Comment

Last Touch or Final Inspection for water spots after a wash? Not to worried about the shine because I usually use a QD as I dry the car and then go over again with UQW.

you could try the rinse-less wash system demonstrated by "Mark Kleis" with Last Touch and a Wash Mitt...
but if your water spots are caused after a wash, it could be because the conditioner you were washing the car had dried out.. I find that sometimes when I wash in really warm weather... :]Ganesa,

Thanks for the info! I will probally get a gallon of last touch and get a 16oz of Final Inspection and just see how they compare.Comment

Years ago I worked for a Limo company that used a similar method to wash the Limos . They would take a bucket of water and a mit , they would spray a panel with QD, and then wash with a wet mit and then dry with towels.It worked great at the time. Of course if the limos were very dirty they would use a hose.Comment
