  • Ultimate Quik Wax/Window Question...

I must say I'm extremely pleased with the fine job that Ultimate Quik Wax has done on my outside window surfaces, mirrors, etc.

I have dealer installed "Limo Tint" on the inside facings.

Has anyone used UQW on the insides of their windows with sufficient regularity to determine if it will or will not induce "Purpling of the dark tinted film?

I suppose I could just bite the bullet and get Meguiar's window cleaner, but at this point it would be a one item order and I'm trying not to get killed on the shipping for just one item.

    Thanks, All!!!

Hey Bob, I have not tried that. IMO Iwould get the window cleaner. Especially for the interior glass. I gallon of the d-line glass cleaner makes 11 gallons. It is very economical. It is great stuff.

Why not just get a bottle of NXT glass cleaner or Invisible Glass down at the local auto store or Walmart? I do not see any upside to applying UQW to the inside of one's windows.

I'll have to keep my eyes open, Al. Didn't think I could find it locally. Our local selection of anything but waxes and polymers is next to non existent. It would really be nice to see a few new rack jobbers here in Orlando. It shouldn't be so difficult to spend my money.
