  • Question about Claying/Process

Hi Guys ive currently done as much reading as i can and im think im ready to try my first detail using the g100. One question i have before i start is after im done claying the car am i suppose to re-wash the car or do i go right to applying the polishing compounds? BTW i will be washing then claying then using combo 83/80 using a 8006 pad then using a 9006 pad to apply my NXT 2.0 wax. Also the car will be a black 2003 mercury grand marquis with some swirling. Thank you guys for your time and this great informative forum!!

    Re: Question about Claying/Process

As long as you wipe off the clay residue while claying, then there is no need to rewash you can if you want but you do not have to.

Good Luck and be sure to post pics.

Like Tuck said as long as you wipe it off you will be alright. Personally I rinse mine. Sounds like you have a good plan of action!
