Swirl Removal

[FCAD]

how do I remove swirl marks created by using a Rotary Buffer? I used a Rotary Buffer with UC and then Waxed with NXT 2.0 and it looked AWESOME for for about 5 days and then the swirls started showing up and it looks like ****. Should I use SwirlX to remove the swirls then re wax? Also from now on should I use Rotary w/ Compound then SwirlX then NXT 2.0?

I'm not sure about this,so hopefully someone else will help out here.But UC is a consumer product and I don't think is supposed to be used with a rotary.I think it is okay for use with a DA.

Just to be sure...Was it a rotary buffer that you used or a Dual Action Polisher?

Also,what pads/type did you use?

Are you seeing swirl marks or holograms?
Any chance you can take a picture?

Sometimes when using a rotary buffer you can remove some serious defects but can't achieve that perfect finish, you need a lot of experience and practice to do so, so maybe you did remove some defects but created other light ones

Since you already used the rotary buffer I can assume you remove serious defects, if you have light ones I would get some SwirlX and apply it by DA or hand and then apply wax. Do this on a test spot to see if you have the results you are looking for and this way you don't have to work on the entire vehicle.
