  • Too Much For Garage Keepers Insurance?

I org posted this in Detailing For Dollars, but have not yet gotten any comments, so thought I would try here.

Got a quote on Garage Keepers Insurance of $1,132 per year.

    Basic breakdown is:

    General Aggregate $2,000,000 Limit
Products and Completed Operations Aggregate $2,000,000 Limit
    Each Occurrence $1,000,000 Limit
Personal Injury and Advertising Injury $1,000,000 Limit

    Garagekeepers:
    Comprehensive $250 deductible. $75,000 limit
    Collision $500 deductible. $75,000 limit

    Does that sound about right?

    Thank you.

I don't know if it sounds right or not, but are you detailing on the side or are you actually running it like a full-time business?

If its just something on the side, I think the cost is a bit too high. But if you're ok with it, then get the insurance.

Its right. Add dealer plates and you will be in the $6k range.

I definitely think insurance is the way to go. I called another place for a quote, because the first one I got has a bunch of things I'm not going to need.

        Thank you.
