  • What do you clean rims/wheels with?

I'm not asking if you should use APC or All Wheel Cleaner, but what type of brush you use. I many different brushes, but all the dirt just end up in stripes instead of whole pieces. I tried MF towels, but the towels got so much grease and grime it became impossible to clean it off. Any inputs?

I'm going to pick two of these up for just this reason. One for customer's coated/non-aluminum wheel for use with Wheel Brightener and one for my own SS painted wheels with polished aluminum rims.

What exactly does this mean? Are you not getting complete removal of the brake dust and other dust - ie the brush is not giving full coverage and leaving streaks behind?

These brushes, if you can still find them someplace (we haven't made them in a couple of years), are great:

The above brushes are awesome if you can find them.

Word of advise, when searching the database for a Meguiar's dealer near/around you (making sure you select the pro stuff), if you get to one of the stores and the packaging looks like it sat in the sun for several years, stay away. I bought one that looked great but the packaging was sun faded (or at least looked it) and when I used it the first time, all of the bristles broke off and not much a brush left......

BUT! look in PBE stores around your area.

I've found some gems in stores in my travels.
