  • Titanium Exhaust Detailing - Need help

    Hello all!

Been stuck on something that's really bugging me. I have an HKS carbon Ti exhaust on my WRX that I bought used a long time ago. It was on fairly decent condition, but now I notice it's faded and really looks horrible in comparison to a new one.

I've tried using meguiar's MAG & Aluminum polish but it didn't put a single dent on the overall look.

    Here's a picture of a new one:

And here's a picture of what mine looks like

    Any suggestions?

If I cant do something to it, I'm just going to sell it and buy a stainless steel exhaust and not another Ti exhaust.

Hope this is the right place, I do a lot of work for a local shop here in tampa and I was called in to polish a set of exhaust pipes that came off a twin-turbo 350Z. He sold the exhaust to another member who owns a show car and wanted them polished before picking them up. I had no idea I would be able to get a finish like this

    Check this out, might help
