I was in an auto parts store a while back and the sales guy was selling the customer a bunch of detailing stuff..I butted in and told them not to forget the clay. The sales guy basically disagreed and said it was like taking very fine sandpaper to the paint.

I thought it was a pretty odd comment (but hey he was selling the guy 'Mommas' brand ).

Ever odd because "Mommas" makes a clay kit and i have it. I use it without any problems. At the time, I originally went to get the Meg's kit but there were none at the store. They had a competitor's kit and I needed some so it was either the competitor's kit or do without any clay at all. Like I said though, I've had no problems with the competitor's clay. Sandpaper whatever.

I've learned a long time ago to just let it go when people disagree with certain things. Life is too short to dwell and to try to convince people. If they want to do things their way, let them knock themselves out. I'm not losing any sleep over it
