I was just watching a couple videos on the same youtube EDITED as well. I think their videos are a hoax. One segment shows a woman teaching people how to polish granite countertops using Palmolive and nothing else! Also, the same woman shows viewers how to polish a bathtub using glass cleaner and a bucket of water!!! Everyone who commented thinks the videos were fishy.

Another video shows a guy giving his secret barbecuing tips to viewers. His first tip is to never BBQ by the house, and his second one is telling people to get a set of untensils and a thermometer. Real great tips.

I know that there are some videos out there that lack the solid detailing skills or practices that we know to be important here on MOL, but I would rather we simply focus on the positives of what we know here on MOL than point out the flaws of others.

...and yes, I know some of those videos can b funny, but let's just try not to post about them here guys

I found it by searching on YouTube. I agree, they're funny, but kinda sad - I've seen some of the videos from that channel before. I'm tempted to say something, but MOL probably isn't the place, and Andrew is absolutely right, this shouldn't become another Phil Boler thread. I think that got kind of old after a little while. I think he was just trying to do his part to keep the well-oiled machine that is MOL running.

Like I mentioned in another thread, we all know there is a missing link in the forum right now until someone can be acquired to fill that we all need to step it up a little and keep things running smoothly.

Never met Mike, but read a lot of his informative posts. I am sad to learn that he chose to leave the community and move on elsewhere.


It seems like many members here are now trying "moderate" this place even though they have no moderating privilege whatsoever. Now I know why; someone is needed to replace Mikey. Do MOL moderators get free Meguiars stuff?
