  • Washing between stages?

Would it be beneficial to wash between each stage of the process? Ex. Wash, claybar, wash, swirlX, wash, polish, wash, and final wax. During my altercation with the swirlX scratching my paint, i fear it may have been a combo of my technique (pressing too hard..AND maybe dust, debris, etc) Any of you guys do this or would it be worth it?

    Thanks

I would only do one intial wash then go right ahead with your steps.

      Wash
      Clean
      Polish
      Protect
      Maintain

Same here. Wash once then go into your steps.

Once and done as the others have stated

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

          I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
          Remove swirls my friends.

Just the initial wash is fine.
