  • Aluminum and Stainless Steel Scratches

I have been using Nevr-Dull on my Aluminum-lipped wheels and on my stainless steel RSR GT-2 Exhaust. I bought the car April 16th of this year. I think I may have created fine scratches due to using the Nevr-Dull, but I don't know. What I need to know now is how do I remove the scratches and restore it to looking perfect? My car is a show car.

    Can you show some pics?

I don't know 'never-dull'. What is it? An all purpose metal cleaner?

It's a wadding polish made by Eagle One. Basically cotton with polish. Many people use it. I'll see if I can get pics.

Okay,It sounds very similair to a product I used to get called 'Duraglit'.

          Is it like pink cotton?

Is only the wheels it caused scuffing/scratches on or the SS exhaust aswell?

If it is the same stuff,I'm surprised it scratched stainless steel.

Also the SS exhaust. I'm not sure if it made the scratches or it just revealed them, but I want them gone. lol

It would be easier to know with pics.

Is the stainless steel finish mirror smooth?

Have you tried a stainless steel polish? depending on the severity of the scratches.

Okay.Do you have a photobucket account that i can go and see them from?

The reason I asked about your exhaust. I take it you are talking about the tailpipe?

Is it mirror smooth or does it have brushed finish?

The Eagle One Never-Null will create fine scratches. The wadding has some abrasives in it. I have used it in the past and stopped using it due to what you experienced.
